The Kerala PSC Departmental Test Notification July 2025 was released by the Kerala Public Service Commission on 04 July 2025. Interested candidates can now submit their online applications for the Kerala PSC Departmental Test, scheduled to be conducted at various centres in Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kozhikode until August 6, 2025, 12:00 AM. There will be a separate notification for visually impaired candidates in the Kerala PSC Departmental Test, so such candidates do not need to apply as per this notification.

Kerala PSC Departmental Test July 2025 Application Process

Kerala PSC Departmental Test July 2025 applications are called for those candidates who are already working in various Kerala government departments / companies / boards. Eligible candidates are advised to go to their Kerala PSC one time registration portal and login using their ID and password to apply for this Departmental Test July 2025.

After logging in to your Kerala PSC Thulasi, go to the ‘Apply for Test’ section, choose the specific Kerala PSC Departmental Test 2025, and then fill out the application with the necessary details, and then ensure you pay the Departmental Test fee before your final submission. Kerala PSC conducts Departmental Tests twice every year, in January and in July. Those who are on leave are also eligible to apply for this Kerala PSC departmental test.

Kerala PSC Departmental Test July 2025 Exam Centre

The Kerala PSC Departmental Test July 2025 exams are scheduled to be conducted in three zones namely Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. The exam centers will be provided by the respective zones as per the availability of exam centers. The districts included in these three major examination centres are given below.

1. Thiruvananthapuram District (Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, & Alappuzha)
2. Ernakulam District (Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, & Palakkad)
3. Kozhikode District (Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, & Kasaragod)

Kerala PSC Departmental Test Exam Pattern 2025

The Kerala PSC Departmental tests are objective online exams based on OMR. The Second Class Language Test in Malayalam (Tamil/Kannada) and the Minority Language Test in Tamil/Kannada are both in a descriptive pattern. The maximum marks of the Kerala PSC departmental test are 100, and the minimum score is 40. One mark will be given for each correct answer. And one-third of your mark will be taken away for every wrong answer. The Kerala PSC Departmental Test 2025 will follow the 'with books/without books' pattern.
