  • M.Sc. qualification and B.Ed. degree admission obtained on the basis of M.Sc. marks.

OR

  • 50% marks in M.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) with M.Sc. Ed degree approved by NCERT/ 50% marks in M.Sc. (Zoology, Botany) with M.Sc. Ed. degree in Life Sciences from RIE (regional Institute of Education).

  • 45% in BA or equivalent with qualification in LTTC/ D. El. Ed.

Category 4

(Upper Primary Language teachers)

  • Teachers eligible in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (UP level), Specialist teachers, Sports teachers (High school level) and Art & Craft teachers (approved by NCTE)

Teachers in specialised fields ( mandated by Act and Rules-XXXI)

1.4 KTET Application form

KTET application form can be submitted vide the official website. The application process can be initiated by clicking on to the “New Registration” link. Then, fill in all the details, check thoroughly before the ‘final submission’ of application through the ‘edit your application’ button. Now, you will be prompted to pay the application fees.

The details to be filled on the application include,

  • Candidates Name, Date of Birth, Caste, Religion, Category, Father’s Name, Address, Mobile number, Aadhar number.
  • Photograph (in jpeg format, size: 20Kb-30Kb, 150x200 pixel, background plane)
  • Payment can be done viz., Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards.

1.5 KTET Admit Card 2023

The KTET Hall ticket can be readily downloaded from the official website using the registered application ID and number. The admit cards will be available a month before the actual month of the exam.

KTET 2023 Expected Cut-Off

The previous year cut-off for KTET exams was fixed at 50% for general category and 55% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH and visually impaired candidates. The expected cut offs for KTET 2023 will be 65% for general category and 60% for other categories. The final cut offs will be subjected to the decision of the examination board.
