Overview

The much awaited UGC NET 2025 exam notification is released. With the examination date published candidates must engage in serious UGC NTA NET exam preparation. Candidates who had appeared in previous UGC NTA NET exam also should register as new candidate. The previous application won’t be considered for the current exam. UGC NET Exam 2025 Notification

UGC NTA National Eligibility Test notification is released on the official website. Aspiring applicants shall download and read the full and complete notification in PDF format. The NET December notification has been released, inviting eligible candidates in 85 subjects. The detailed notification was released on 19 November 2024.

UGC NET Exam 2025 Application

All aspirants preparing for NTA UGC NET exam 2025 should register their profile and apply UGCT NET online through the official website. Candidates must complete all registration procedures on or before December 10, 2024 and fee payment as on December 11, 2024. Here is the step by step instruction to register the profile in UGC NTA NET website.

As a pre requisite for application, candidates must keep the scanned copies of their photograph and signature, as and how preferred by NTA and UGC in their official information bulletin.

Black and white or colour photograph on white background with 80% of the face, including ears, visible.

Size : 10kb – 200 kb

Signature

The scanned image of signature must be clearly legible.

Format: JPG

Size : 4kb – 30 kb

Facility for the correction of scanned images might not be provided in later course. Therefore, all candidates are advised to upload the image particulars as and how mentioned in the official instruction.

UGC NET Application: How to Apply

In order to apply for UGC NTA NET exam, candidates should go through the official instructions.

As per the official instructions, applicants must register the profile using their AADHAR/passport/PAN Card or other official means listed on the first page for registration. Furnish the candidates’ own email and mobile number during the UGC NET registration. The official intimations to candidates are likely to send to these credentials. Fill in the required details on respective fields and check each detail is correct and void of any spelling or factual mistakes. Create and note down the password and application number. Choose a security question and furnish the answer in case of any account recovery is required in future.

After registration login to the candidate profile using application number and password. Furnish the exam preferences (subject, educational qualifications, scanned images required particulars etc.)

While creating password candidates must be careful to follow the official format. There should 8-13 characters with at least one upper case and lower-case alphabet/s. And at least on numeric value and a special character must be included.

Candidates can reset the password later, if they wish. Each time candidates must follow the above-mentioned format.

UGC NET Application: Fee Payment

The application form page will be followed by the fee payment window. All candidates should pay fee applicable to the respective category they are representing. The payment of fee can be done only through online payment methods such as debit, creditor UPIs of SBI/CANARA/ICICI/HDFC Banks.
